"The RPLIDAR A2 Laser Scanner is the improved version of the 2D Lidar. The measurement system developed by SLAMTEC is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The system can take up to 8000 measurements per second at a high speed.<br /><br />The RPLIDAR A2 is the next generation low cost 360 degree 2D laser scanner (LIDAR) developed by SLAMTEC. It can take up to 8000 laser samples per second at high rotational speed. Equipped with SLAMTEC's patented OPTMAG technology, it breaks the lifetime limitation of conventional LIDAR systems to operate stably for a long time.<br /><br />The RPLIDAR A2 360° laser scanner operates at up to 600RPM and also allows a resolution of up to 0.9°.
