ADATA Ultimate SU650 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s 3D NAND SSD 256GB

The ADATA Ultimate SU650 256GB (model ASU650SS-256GT-R) is a 2.5-inch SATA III (6Gb/s) solid state drive built on 3D NAND flash with a high-speed controller. It delivers sequential read and write speeds of up to 520MB/s and 450MB/s, and is part of an SU650 range that runs from 120GB to 2TB. SLC caching lets part of the NAND operate in single-level cell mode to sustain peak speeds for faster boot times, file transfers and downloads. ECC (error correction code) detects and corrects errors to protect data integrity, and the drive is rated for an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours. With no moving parts, the SU650 is silent, draws little power and is resistant to shock (1500G/0.5ms). Operating temperature is 0°C to 70°C. The drive is 7mm thick for ultrabooks, and a 2.5mm spacer is included for 9.5mm drive bays, so it fits most laptops, desktops and consoles. ADATA SSD Toolbox (drive status, wear level and lifespan monitoring) and ADATA Migration Utility (cloning an existing drive, including the operating system) are free downloads for SU650 owners. Backed by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
