Small World Board Game by Days of Wonder - Fantasy Area-Control Game for Competitive Play, Ages 8+, 2-5 Players

In Small World, players compete to control a crowded fantasy land where there is not enough room for every civilization to thrive. Choose from a changing combination of fantasy races and special powers, then use their abilities to conquer regions and build your influence across the board. Each race and power pairing creates a different strategy, so every game develops in its own way. When a civilization has expanded as far as it can, place it into decline and choose a new combination to continue your campaign. Timing your decline is an important part of deciding when to defend territory and when to seek new opportunities. This fantasy area-control board game is designed for competitive play, combining races and special powers for varied strategies and supporting changing alliances, expansion, and decline. It's perfect for fans of strategic gameplay and those who enjoy a good challenge.
